Alex Katz (American, b.1927) is one of the most recognized and widely-exhibited artists of his generation. Since the 1950s, his distinctive portraits and lyrical landscapes have earned him renown as a preeminent painter of modern life.

On the occasion of the Art Institute's acquisition of Yellow House 2, join Alex Katz and Ann Goldstein, Deputy Director and Chair and Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, as they sit down for an intimate, in-gallery conversation.
