The New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA), the city’s oldest fine arts institution has acquired Sacrifice (2021) by Antonia Showering. This work was first exhibited in Mixed Emotions at Timothy Taylor in January 2022 and evokes how the subconscious is experienced in the mind whilst emotions are solidified into symbolic forms.
