Thursday 7 December, Annie Morris and Idris Khan will be in conversation for a personal discussion on love, grief, and memory at Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery on the occasion of their current exhibition, When Loss Makes Melodies. Join the pair as they reflect on the stories behind the exhibition and how the artists have influenced each other’s practice over their decade together. How Morris’ vibrant use of colour has nudged Khan towards a broader palette, and other subtle but influential ways that their individual practices converge. They will also consider how their art forms a parallel narrative with Sir John Soane’s life, revealing connections between contemporary artistic expression and the historic setting of Soane’s neo-classical architecture.
