On view at the Albertina Museum in Klosterneuburg, a special presentation of drawings by Eddie Martinez is shown alongside historical works by Georg Baselitz.

Bringing together nearly 350 works on paper, the presentation features sketches, collages, and fragments from Martinez’s daily practice, offering an expansive look at his approach to drawing. It follows his exhibitions at The Drawing Center in New York in 2019 and the 60th International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia in 2024.

Presented alongside Baselitz, Martinez’s works reveal two distinct approaches to drawing, highlighting how both artists use the medium to develop ideas, experiment, and explore new forms.
